1. Check the water connection ( water released by local muncipal dept - frequency(daily/alternate) / overhead tank or underground sump quantity)
2. Check the plugpoints ( sufficient enough for your TV/laptop/mobile/fridge / other gadgets )
3. Check the agreement , pay amount either by cash or cheque ( ensure to have necessary receipts for the same and keep a photocopy of the cheques(learnt it the hard way))
4. Check the geysers setup
5. Check the mirrors / windows
6. Check the wash basin area in kitchen/bathroom
7. Ensure the terrace is clean enough with no seepages and provision to hang clothes
